Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics

Understanding the origin and evolution of the universe.

BCCP is focused on understanding the origin and evolution of the universe through programs that define the observations, experiments, concepts, and simulations needed to answer fundamental questions in cosmology.

BCCP is a joint center between UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory that combines experimentation, computation, and theory to develop the foundation of an accurate, reliable model of the cosmos and compare that model against observations.
